Alpha Letter from Ellie Hahn

Dear Sisters,

My name is Ellie Hahn, and I am from Wichita, Kansas. I recently graduated from Maize High School, and I am now pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with minors in both nutrition and leadership here at Kansas State University. My future career goal is being a pediatric occupational therapist so that I can help children overcome unwarranted obstacles that hinder their growth as individuals. I am incredibly passionate about assisting this age group because I want to provide these children with a positive role model and learning figure at a vital point in their development.

Being a part of Alpha Delta Pi has been such a blessing to me in these short two weeks in college. The sisterhood I’ve already experienced and the relationships I’ve formed here have created a genuine sense of home away from home. I chose to be a member of Alpha Delta Pi because the beautiful, inspirational women in this sorority embody the woman I someday hope to become. Our motto, “We Live for Each Other,” has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember, but was a goal I never knew I could truly achieve until I had my sisters by my side.

One of the most memorable experiences I have had thus far at Kansas State University was shared with my sisters on Bid Night. That night was filled with so much adrenaline and excitement, we were all bursting with joy. One of my sisters was so ecstatic, she decided to show her joy by covering her entire face with glitter. She could hardly open her eyes! We’ve been finding flecks of glitter on her face and in her hair ever since. I cannot wait to make more fun, life-changing memories in Alpha Delta Pi.

Loyally,
