RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has valued its partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and raised over $14,000,000 for the organization. RMH provides a home away from home for families traveling far to receive medical care or treatment for their children.
RMHC of Kansas gives families a place to call home while their children receive medical treatment. The women who are in ADPi are passionate, proud and excited about everything we can do for RMHC. Whether one has a personal connection or not, each ADPi is proud to serve this amazing cause. Watch the Ronald McDonald House Charities video below to see their impact on our lives.

THE HOUSE WE SUPPORT
Ronald McDonald House Charities cover the entire cost of lodging, toiletries, and food for the entirety of their child’s stay. There are 271 Ronald McDonald Houses in 30 countries, whose functions are to provide comfort, care, and "a home-away-from home" for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. More than 10 million families have utilized the Ronald McDonald houses, saving over $120 million in housing and meal expenses. Families find the comforts of home at Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms, where shelter is available to all families of critically ill or injured children. At the Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms, families share experiences, understanding and empathy with others whose worlds have been turned upside down. Alpha Eta supports 3 RMHC locations in Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City.

OUR PHILANTHROPY WEEK
In the spring, we use our heavy social media presence to raise money for RMHC. We share the importance of Ronald McDonald House Charities and how they have impacted our lives as well as others in need. This is a week long event with different activities for us to spread awareness for our charity. The week ends with a social event called Pizza with the Pi's. Students can come to our chapter and enjoy pizza while playing yard games. In 2018 we ended the week raising a total $18,000 for RMHC.
